This business-innovation challenge empowers students to think like founders and build the next generation of high-impact, scalable solutions. Students are tasked with identifying a real-world market gap and designing a solution that combines strong technical execution with a viable business model.

Submission Requirements:

To participate in the Tech Unicorn Track, teams will submit the following deliverables:

1. Product Mockup or MVP

A working prototype, design, or visual mockup demonstrating how the product solves the identified problem. Formats can include:

  • β€’ Hardware or IoT demonstration video
2. Market Research Slide (1–2 pages)

A business-focused overview including:

3. Demo Video (Max 5-min)

A short pitch-style video featuring:

A hackathon is an event where participants collaborate to create software or hardware projects in a limited time. At Hack Fiesta Miami, you’ll experience inspiring keynote speakers, skill-enhancing workshops, mentorship from industry professionals, and exciting challenges with great prizes!
Hack Fiesta Miami will take place in-person from March 28th to 30th, 2025. The event will run for 36 hours, filled with hacking.
Any undergraduate or graduate student from any university worldwide is welcome to participate!

No, you don’t need a team to register! You can join solo and find teammates at our Team Formation event or on our Discord server. Teams can have up to 4 members.
